Simple Smoothie Bowl

Smoothies are a tasty way to get a lot of nutrients while being gentler on the digestive system. While traditional smoothie bowls are made with frozen fruit and very little liquid, this version results in a cool and creamy texture that works even on the coldest days. Perfect for breakfast, snack or dessert!

  • Peaches and bananas are great sources of Vitamin C and many B Vitamins

  • Gelatin provides a healthy dose of gut healing amino acids

  • Chia seeds (which may be an issue for those in a flare so omit if need be) provide healthy fats and protein

  • Cinnamon can help to reduce inflammation
